WHO ARE WE
Aviation Incident Deep Dives
Red X Aviation tells the real stories behind aviation incidents, showing how technical issues and human decisions can shape the outcome of a flight. Every investigation is researched, written, and produced by Keith, an independent filmmaker and aviation enthusiast based in Ireland.

Each story uses Microsoft Flight Simulator to recreate events inside the cockpit, helping viewers understand exactly what happened and why. The goal is to explain aviation, not dramatize it, and to show what the industry learns from every event.

Inform and Engage
Red X Aviation exists to inform and engage, not to assign blame. The project is about understanding the sequence of choices and challenges that lead to critical moments in flight and what those lessons mean for safer skies.
New content appears on both YouTube and this website, where you can find extended articles, stills, and source material from official investigations.
Keith is an Irish filmmaker with a background in documentary storytelling and a lifelong passion for flight. He studies official accident reports and safety data to translate complex information into clear, engaging stories that any viewer can follow.
When he is not editing or researching, he is usually filming, flying virtual routes, or perfecting the sound of an aircraft engine start-up in post-production.
Mission
To make aviation safety clear, accurate, and accessible while highlighting the human side of flight.
